MEMBERSHIP POLICY

Students Wellbeing Foundation of India (SWFOI)

 

1. Purpose of Membership

Membership at Students Wellbeing Foundation of India (SWFOI) is designed to allow individuals to participate in student welfare initiatives awareness programs community activities and support networks.

Membership is a privilege offered by SWFOI and not a right.

2. Eligibility

To apply for membership

• Applicants must be fifteen years of age or above
• Applicants must provide accurate and complete information
• Applicants must comply with SWFOI policies and verification requirements

SWFOI reserves the right to verify age identity and eligibility at any stage.

3. Membership Application and Approval

• Submission of a membership application does not guarantee approval
• Approval is subject to internal review verification and discretion of SWFOI
• SWFOI may accept reject or place an application on hold without assigning any reason

The decision of SWFOI shall be final and binding.

4. Membership Fees

• Membership may require payment of a non refundable fee
• All membership payments are non refundable and non transferable
• Payment does not create any ownership right voting right or entitlement over SWFOI

Membership fees are used solely for organisational and welfare activities.

5. Registration Timeline

After successful payment

• Members must complete the registration form within seven to ten working days
• Failure to complete registration within this timeframe will result in cancellation
• No refunds or transfers will be provided in such cases

​

6. Membership Benefits

Membership benefits may include access to

• Awareness programs and workshops
• Student support guidance and resources
• Volunteer opportunities
• Community initiatives and events
• Digital membership identification

Benefits may vary and are subject to change at SWFOI discretion.

7. Membership Identification

• Digital ID cards will be issued within ten working days after successful completion of registration and verification
• Timelines may vary due to operational or verification requirements

SWFOI is not responsible for delays beyond reasonable control.

8. Code of Conduct

Members are expected to

• Act responsibly respectfully and ethically
• Follow all SWFOI policies and guidelines
• Avoid misuse of SWFOI name logo identity or platform
• Refrain from any activity that harms students or the organisation

Any violation may result in immediate suspension or termination.

9. Termination of Membership

SWFOI reserves the absolute right to

• Suspend or terminate membership at any time
• Deny access to benefits or platforms
• Cancel membership without prior notice

Termination may occur due to misconduct policy violation misrepresentation inactivity or organisational requirements.

No refunds shall be issued in case of termination.

10. No Rights or Claims

Membership does not grant

• Decision making authority
• Voting rights
• Legal claims
• Financial rights
• Representation rights

Members shall not claim any right title or interest in SWFOI or its assets.

​

11. Limitation of Liability

SWFOI shall not be held liable for

• Any loss or inconvenience faced by members
• Outcomes of participation in activities
• Actions of other members volunteers or third parties

Participation is voluntary and at the member’s own discretion.

​

12. Policy Updates

SWFOI may revise this Membership Policy at any time without prior notice.
Continued membership constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
