REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Students Wellbeing Foundation of India (SWFOI)

 

1. Purpose of This Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains the rules related to payments donations memberships leadership registrations and event fees made to Students Wellbeing Foundation of India (SWFOI).

By making any payment to SWFOI you agree to this policy in full.

2. General Rule

All payments made to SWFOI are

• Non refundable
• Non transferable
• Final once processed

This rule applies without exception unless explicitly stated otherwise by SWFOI in writing.

3. Membership and Leadership Fees

Membership and leadership fees once paid

• Are not refundable
• Are not transferable to another person
• Cannot be adjusted against any other service

After payment
• Applicants must complete the registration form within seven to ten working days
• Failure to complete the registration within this time will result in automatic cancellation
• No refund will be issued in such cases

SWFOI reserves full authority to approve reject or cancel any membership or leadership application at its sole discretion.

4. Donations

All donations made to SWFOI are

• Voluntary
• Non refundable
• Non reversible

This applies to
• Online donations
• Bank transfers
• Cheque donations
• Corporate or individual contributions

Donations do not create any right claim ownership benefit or entitlement over SWFOI or its operations.

5. Event Payments

Payments made for events workshops or programs

• Are non refundable
• Are non transferable

If an event is postponed rescheduled or cancelled by SWFOI
• SWFOI may decide to reschedule or offer alternative arrangements
• No cash refunds are guaranteed

6. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments

If a payment is made more than once due to a technical error

• The user must notify SWFOI within a reasonable time
• SWFOI will review the matter
• Any decision regarding adjustment or refund will be at SWFOI discretion

SWFOI is not obligated to process refunds for user errors.

7. Chargebacks and Disputes

Users agree not to raise chargebacks disputes or reversals through banks or payment gateways without first contacting SWFOI.

Unauthorised chargebacks may result in
• Immediate termination of membership or access
• Legal or recovery action if applicable

8. Mode of Payments Covered

This policy applies to all payment methods including

• Website payment gateways
• Bank transfers
• Cheques
• Any future digital payment modes introduced by SWFOI

9. Cancellation by SWFOI

SWFOI reserves the absolute right to cancel

• Membership
• Leadership roles
• Volunteer participation
• Event participation

Such cancellations may occur due to
• Policy violations
• Safety concerns
• Incomplete documentation
• Misrepresentation
• Organisational requirements

No refunds shall be issued in such cases.

10. Limitation of Liability

SWFOI shall not be responsible for

• Loss of opportunity
• Personal inconvenience
• Third party costs
• Indirect or consequential damages

Arising from cancellation or non refund of payments.

11. Policy Updates

SWFOI may revise this policy at any time without prior notice.
The latest version published on the website will be final and binding.
